Amanda Paige’s Sanitation Hair & Makeup Guidelines
Barbicide Covid-19 Certified
Makeup Protocol:
- Artist will arrive to set 15 to 20 mins prior to call time wearing a clean mask & shield in order to properly disinfect the hair and makeup station before setting up kit.
- Artist will adhere to CDC/WHO hand hygiene guidelines prior to set-up and all times deemed necessary throughout the shoot as well as provide sanitizer and/or Alcohol for the hair and makeup station (production to provide necessary sanitizer/supplies to rest of the crew.)
- Artist will happily comply with any requests, for example; if the talent or client prefers the Artist to use the talents’ personal products or brushes.
- Single use or disposable brushes will be available upon request with a $20 fee billed to the client. Artist will accommodate and provide a sterilized bag to store items/tools used after application.
- A portable sterilizer will be brought to set along with the hair and makeup kit. This allows for sterilization of any makeup tools and brushes in just 5 minutes.
- Artist will use clean & Sterilized brushes dedicated for each individual talent (no brushes to be shared amongst talent).
- Artist will have prepackaged tool kits that will be STERILIZED and sealed prior to the production. One package per talent will be provided and can be disposed after use. Tool kits include, 1 makeup sponge, 2 disposable lip applicators, 2 disposable mascara wands, 1 Cotton round, 2 precision q-tips, 2 disposable eyeliner applicators, 1 tissue, and 1 powder puff .
- If production is longer than one day Artist will pack up any tools and or brushes at the end of each day to take them home and shampoo them prior to coming on set the following day.
Hair Tools Protocol:
- All combs and or brushes will be sterilized with barricade for 10 mins prior to arriving on set.
- During hair styling Artist will continue to wear all PPE necessary including but not limited to facial mask and/or facial shield.
- All hair tools will be sprayed and disinfected with a 91% Isopropyl alcohol solution after used on any and every talent.
- Barbicide solution will also be available for hair tools only when an additional a deep clean is deemed necessary as well as when final production day is complete before packing kit.
– If an Artist Assistant is present, they will also be wearing a clean mask and in-charge of cleaning/disinfecting Artist area as well as watching set, if necessary
- Artist suggests approximately 5 mins between each Talent in order to re-set work station, clean, and disinfect area to prepare for next Talent
